About us
Located in the Arve Valley, renowned for its decolletage and precision mechanics industry. CONTACTELEC was one of the first companies to specialize in the machining of plastics, and this since its inception in 1973.
We are constantly improving our manufacturing processes, which allows us to meet high quality requirements.
We can produce parts with diameters ranging from 1 to 25 mm in diameter, and lengths up to 160mm.
Our machine fleet allows us to make series ranging from 1000 to more than 500,000.
Our two main business areas are connectivity and medical.
Our small structure allows us to have a significant responsiveness (quotes are made between 24 hours and 48 hours).

Historical
1973: Date of creation of the company CONTACTELEC by Mr. CHESNEY Jean-Pierre in artisanal form. CONTACTELEC will become a specialist in the precision machining of plastics.
1981: Continued activity by Mrs. CHESNEY Hélène in the same legal form.
1985: Construction of a factory in a craft zone.
Over the years, development of the classic machine park, and increased capacity up to 28 millimeters.
2000: New diversification with the purchase of a 5-axis CNC tower.
2006: Takeover of the company by his sons CHESNEY Jean-Luc and YVES. And the implementation of a quality system, with the objective of ISO 9001 qualification.
2010: Jean-Luc CHESNEY takeover of the company.
2013: Improved quality with the acquisition of a 2D image control system.
2014: Acquisition of a STAR SB 12 CNC tower with LNS
2015-2016 : Acquisition of high-performance control equipment
2017: Acquisition of a new CNC STAR SB 12 tower with LNS
